Potassium Monopersulfate Compound CAS 70693-62-8 Water Treatment Agent Disinfectant
Potassium perbisulfate, also known as potassium perbisulfate complex salt with the
formula KHSO5, is an inorganic peroxide. The following is a
detailed description of potassium bisulfate:
Physical and chemical properties:
Appearance: white, odorless, crystalline, quicksand-like solid
powder.
Active oxygen content: ≥ 4.50%.
Effective component (KHSO5) : ≥ 42.80%.
Packing density: 1.00-1.30g /cm3.
Moisture: ≤ 0.10%.
PH value (25 ℃) : 1% aqueous solution is 2.0-2.3, 3% aqueous
solution is 1.7-2.0.
Water solubility (20 ℃) : 256 g/L.
Decomposition temperature: > 60 ℃.
Applications:
Disinfectant: Disinfection in the recycling of water in swimming pools, hot
springs and other places can effectively reduce the content of
organic matter such as ammonia nitrogen in the water and make the
water clear and transparent.
Metal treatment: Used for cleaning and etching of printed circuit
boards.
Paper regeneration: As an auxiliary for wet strength paper
repulping and fiber reengineering, it has a bleaching effect and
can improve paper quality.
Textiles: Oxidizing agent for wool fabrics before shrinkage pretreatment and
bleach for dyed fabrics.
Other applications: denture cleaner, gypsum additive, organic
synthetic auxiliary agent, carpet coloring agent and sewage
purification agent.
Storage and Transportation:
Storage: Must be stored in a dry, cool, ventilated place, avoid direct
sunlight and near heat sources, fire sources, storage temperature
should be below 30 ℃. At the same time, attention should be paid to
waterproof and avoid pollution, and contact with organic matter,
reducing matter, flammable matter, acid, alkali, etc., to prevent
decomposition.
Transport: It can be carried out by road, rail or sea. It belongs
to the Dangerous Goods Class 8, the international Dangerous goods
number is UN NO. 3260.
Security:
Potassium bisulfate is oxidizing and corrosive. Avoid direct
contact with eyes, skin and clothing during use, and wear
appropriate protective equipment.
